Unfortunately, you can't sell abroad through the Silk Purse Guild. We're all about keeping it local and UK-based.

• Submit Your Application: Fill in the application form ensuring you add links to your work and product images

• Approval Review: Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by the founder of the Guild.

• Successful Application: If approved, you’ll receive an email confirming your success.

• Access to Members Portal: After purchasing, you’ll gain access to our private members portal

• Onboarding Course: Inside the portal, you’ll find a link to our onboarding course,

• Free Membership Month: Enjoy one month of free membership to get everything in place without any rush.

• Shop Opening: Once you’re ready, we’ll open your shop for you! Initially, your products will need admin

• As soon as we're sure you’ve found you feet, and got the hang of things, we'll hand over the keys and the shop is all yours!

Why Offer Variations in One Listing?

Convenience: Customers can see all their options in one place without having to search through multiple listings.

Before you begin, you need to make sure you have the following information to add to your Variations -

The attribute you wish to use - examples - colour, size, shape, framed
A product image for each of the variations you want to offer
The stock quantity of each of the different variations - example 5 RED, 4 BLUE 1 GREEN
The Price of each variation, which can be different

How do I open a store?

The Silk Purse Guild is exclusively for small, Handmade Businesses based in the UK.

You will not be able to access the seller area until your application been approved.

Open a Stripe Account
Have 5 killer products, with 4 photos of each and product descriptions written
As soon as you are approved, you will get all the details you need to open your account via email
You will be given 1 month of FREE access to get your shop set up. As soon as you are ready, pick the plan that suits your business and you are LIVE!
All products will be in a pending state, until you have been approved to post directly, due to a fair few instances of “winging it” with the shipping set up lol
